Greetings,
I found this site and came to this page after wondering why I feel fatigued and thirsty every day (Along with other goings-on). Never imagined that it could be as simple as dehydration... I've got asthma as well and thought the cough was allergies. And I've felt the chest pains, but only attributed it to the way I type on the keyboard. Metaphorically speaking, that lowly glass of water is looking much like wine at this point! Thank you!!

Hi, this information is life changing.

All my life I've never been thirsty or intrested in drinking anything, and my mum used to try to force drinks on me when I was a kid.

As I got older I started with mystery illness, fatigue, IBS, ME, low blood pressure, breathing problems, panic attacks....all silly things that where ruining my life.

Then a specialist told me to drink 3 litres a day, which made me vomit! However, it's hard to do, but I stuck with it and had a dramatic improvement.

Then slipped back to old habits, I've just read this and realised why feeling ill again!

Thanks for the great info....drink more

I played golf on Monday, August 2nd and it was very hot and a few times I became a little dizzy after squatting down to spot the ball or line up a putt. I was drinking a lot of water and also drank a Gator Aid. This morning (8/5) after I had been up for about an hour or so, I begin to feel light headed and my stomach felt upset for about 15-20 minutes. My wife says I was dehydrated, is it normal for it to take this amount of time before the symptoms appear?

That's why horses have salt licks, especially in the summer, so they stay hydrated.
